Agree that death is not to be feared - having briefly flirted with the other side myself. In fact, the post I wrote about it is perhaps my most viewed.
Epicurus argues death itself isn’t bad, but he sidesteps dying, often painful or undignified. Isn’t that what people truly fear? The process, not the void after?
Although to be honest, I cope with my fear by practicing the approach: "You won’t even know you’re dead, so chill and eat some grapes."
